ABOUT ME
My Background
I am a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Rhode Island. In the spring of 2020, I will graduate with a bachelors in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. While at Rhode Island, I have also represented the school as a student athlete and played for our NCAA Division I softball team.

RELEVANT INFORMATION
HOMETOWN
Although I love Rhode Island, this is not where I am orignally from. I was born in Monroeville, Pennsylvania which is about fifteen minutes out of Pittsburgh. If I am lucky, I hope to move back home and continue my career there: family plays a large role in my life. In my free time, I love spending time with my dog at our camp on the Allegheny River.
FUNDRAISING
When I was 17 years old my grandmother was diagnosed with ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and passed away shortly after. This has made a huge impact on my life and each year I host a fundraiser with URI Softball to raise money for the cause. I hope to someday be able to help patients like my grandma and help give them a better quality of life. If you would like to learn more visit http://www.alsa.org/about-als/what-is-als.html !!
